The welding/fabrication/quality clauses of 19902 have been re-developed based on DIS comments and SC7 agreements to revise. Information for the SC7 meeting in Paris, January 2006, is available at SC7's ISO Livelink folders. August 2005: Two ISO/FDIS are out for final ballot, with publication expected by end 2005: 19901-1 closing 28th September and 19901-7 closing 11th October. The earlier ISO/DIS ballot results are: 19902: approved by 13 of 13 P-Members voting, no negatives; 19903: approved by 12 of 12 P-Members voting, no negatives; 19904-1: approved by 15 of 15 P-Members voting, no negatives. The US "Regional Annex" to 19901-1 Metocean was completed and sent to join the remainder of the document that is already being prepared for FDIS. January 2005 – A well attended 2-day WG5 Panel 5 (stationkeeping) meeting at Noble Denton’s offices in London cleared all the technical comments received from ISO CS following the 19901-7 DIS voting stage. A final technical check will be made by Panel 5 members in February and March 2005 to ensure “ready for FDIS” status is achieved by WG5 by the next SC7 meeting in Houston. November 2004 – Rapid progress from WG5 has led to the formal issue of 19904-1 to ISO in DIS format, the separation of 19904-1 and 19904-2 being agreed in Res. 199 at Tokyo in February 2004. The approval vote on 19901-7 DIS and related formal comments have been received by WG5 from ISO CS and the standard is expected to be “ready for FDIS” mid-2005. October 2004: Significant progress! In the week leading up to the SC7 meeting (Rio, 2004) the DIS of 19902 and 19903 were issued for Enquiry. The corrections to FDIS 19901-2 were agreed, clearing the way for publication by year end. And at end October, the "Ready for DIS" of 19904-1 was sent to ISO CS. However, making progress on the 19905 series continues to be challenging. some of the "editorial" changes, and these changes caused two of the P-Members to submit negative votes to ISO.. The SC7 Secretariat
intends that all the corrections required by the Chairman and Secretary will be made before publication. The prEN being parallel-voted in
CEN also passed ballot, with one negative due to the "editorial" changes. 22nd August 2002: ISO/FDIS prEN 19900 issued for FDIS vote and EN Final Vote- close date 2002-10-22. When published in
