How to have the Annexes included in the Table of contents - specifically for the WORD-95 template isostd30 but STD (WORD-98) is probably similar

The following are the instructions received from Franck Perrad, ISO/CS to insert or remove elements from the Table of contents. They were for "isostd30" (Word 95) but there may be a similar process for "STD" (Word 98).

Position the insertion point in the Table of contents.
Choose "Index and Tables" from the "Insert" menu in the Word toolbar.
Select the "Table of contents" tab, choose "Custom style" (Word 95) or "From template" (Word 97) in the list of formats and then click on "Options".
Run through the list of styles in the "Available styles" box until you find the one you want to include in the table of contents (eg. Introduction or Annex). In the "TOC level" box to the right of the style name you want, type in a number from1 to 9 (corresponding to the index styles TOC1 toTOC9).
Note: In the template all level numbers have the same presentation. However suggest using 1 then it definitely has the same level as a main clause.
Repeat step 4 for all the styles you want to compile into the table of contents.
To remove a style, delete the number from the "TOC level" box.
Choose the OK button to close the Table of contents Options dialogue box.
Choose the OK button to compile the table of contents.

Note: Once a Table of contents has been cutomised like this, do not use the "Update all" button (thought to only apply to isostd30, since there appears to be no update all button in STD). This will restore the contents of the table as it was. Instead, to update the table, place the cursor in the table of contents and press F9.
